About the Role As the Manager | Makesafe Services , you will lead the National Makesafe team to ensure the successful coordination and delivery of emergency building projects across the country. This role is pivotal to maintaining Bay Building Group's reputation for responsiveness and excellence in emergency management. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Makesafe services, ensuring teams respond swiftly to emergencies, securing properties for both building and restoration Makesafe works, and meet client expectations. With a strong focus on leadership, compliance, and process optimization, you will drive operational efficiencies, support your team in delivering outstanding results, and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Key activities (include but are not limited to the following): Work closely with the Project Delivery teams, your responsibilities will include all aspects of commercial practices including compliance, contract administration and reporting. Assist with the end-to-end management of makesafe outcomes and financial tasks on the project to ensure key objectives are successfully achieved. Manage and monitor trades and sub-contractors, ensuring works are being managed as per BBG standards Provide support and coordination relative to the reporting requirements of the project including the preparation of monthly progress reports. You will also be experienced in managing and resolving disputes under the Contract. Desired Skills and Qualifications Must have recent experience in Insurance, Restoration or any building related emergency response work Collaborative leadership approach, with the ability to work after hours to ensure end-end support of team and customers. Basic understanding of insurance policies and strong commercial acumen. Ability to pivot based on business and customer needs, ensuring competing priorities are addressed accordingly Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic in nature and results driven Strong problem solver Trade Management experience Ability to scale up and re-prioritise in high volume work increases Proven experience managing stakeholders, including internal and external (inclusive of trades).
